Description Are you an experienced Cost Accountant looking to take your career to the next level? Key Responsibilities: + Cost Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and review cost reports to ensure accurate tracking and allocation of expenses. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Inventory Management: Monitor and evaluate inventory costs, including identifying areas for improvement and cost efficiencies. + Financial Performance: Assist in analyzing product profitability and cost structure to support informed decision-making across the business. + Compliance: Ensure that accounting processes align with company policies, GAAP, and other regulatory standards. + Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving cost accounting processes and systems, contributing to operational efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certifications are a plus. + Experience: Minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry setting. + Skillset: Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and standard costing. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Detail-Oriented: Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. + Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
