SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to support our electrical manufacturing team in San Antonio, TX. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring manpower, schedules, material coordination, and design implementation are aligned for successful project execution. You will act as a key liaison between electrical technicians, engineering, purchasing, and project management, helping drive continuous improvement, reduce rework, and maintain schedule commitments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team & Project Support

• Provide day-to-day support to the electrical team on the manufacturing floor.
• Help prioritize and coordinate manpower allocation based on project schedules.
• Work with production leads to identifying and resolving roadblocks in real time.

Scheduling & Coordination

• Assist in aligning project timelines with resource availability and customer deadlines.
• Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and delays to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the project management team to maintain accurate delivery expectations.

Design & Quality Improvements

• Collaborate with engineering to resolve design issues and ensure constructability.
• Initiate and drive design change feedback based on shop floor observations and technician input.
• Assist with the rollout and adoption of new electrical standards, processes, or templates.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Interface with purchasing to expedite critical materials and avoid delays.
• Ensure field changes and redlines are communicated and properly documented for future use.
• Act as a technical resource for interpreting electrical drawings and standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems, installation, or electrical project management in a manufacturing, construction, or power generation environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and industrial standards.
• Experience coordinating teams and interfacing with cross-functional departments.
• Preferred: Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Familiarity with UL standards, switchgear, generator connections, or power distribution systems. Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
