We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our client's team in Fresno, California. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of innovative HR strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core HR functions, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage processes effectively while fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR leadership to create and roll out innovative HR strategies and programs.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to align with operational needs.
- Provide strategic guidance backed by thorough research and data analysis.
- Manage recruitment activities, talent acquisition efforts, and oversee performance management systems.
- Administer employee engagement initiatives, manage leaves of absence, and support Affirmative Action compliance.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and development programs to build employee skills.
- Maintain well-organized electronic records and filing systems for easy access and compliance.
- Assist in fostering a positive workplace culture by supporting employee relations efforts.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to employment laws and swiftly resolve compliance matters.
- Lead special projects and perform administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role.
- Proficiency in using HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, FMLA, and benefits administration.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with labor laws and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage employee interactions.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Skilled in employee onboarding, orientation, and training program coordination.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
