Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire production lifecycle in a food manufacturing setting. This role is focused on ensuring efficient scheduling, inventory control, team leadership, and continuous process improvement to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage daily production schedules based on demand and inventory levels
  • Supervise warehouse and logistics functions including receiving, storage, shipping, and order fulfillment
  • Track and report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, production efficiency, waste, and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely raw material availability and shipment of finished goods
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control strategies
  • Maintain high standards of quality and food safety compliance across all processes
  • Train, lead, and evaluate team members; assist with staffing and performance management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce costs
  • Support safety and GMP compliance, including proper use of PPE and adherence to all facility protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role in manufacturing and/or logistics
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment

Education Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
