Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform activities and responsibilities for each task order life cycle from proposal to close-out on all assigned contracts;
  • Plan the entire procurement process from receipt of request for procurement through the cycle of solicitation, contract award, administration, and close-out; and
  • Conduct the award process for assigned task orders including: preparing and/or coordinating all documentation and correspondence for award; opening bids or receiving proposals; evaluating; determining responsiveness and responsibility; working on resolution of bid protests and bid mistakes; determining price reasonableness; and preparing award.

Requirements

Background and Experience Required

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and administering requests for proposals/bids/quotations, specifications, scope of work, and different types of contracts and agreements;
  • Knowledge of many different contracts, solicitations, and agreement types; and
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

Benefits

1099 Rate Range: $90 – $115

Location: WMATA New Carrollton Office Building, 4100 Garden City Dr, Hyattsville, MD 20785 (Full-Time, 18 months (subject to renewal) - Hybrid, 2 days a week)

Work Hours: The normal work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
